DriveSTEEL™ adopts a thoroughly integrated appraoch to combine blue-cut lens material with innovative anti-glare coating to optimize driving performance. The lens provides superior visual comfort during the day and enhances night vision for safer driving.
Overview
Optimized for Drivers
A dedicated design for each driver to ensure optimal wearer comfort for a smoother ride.
Reduce Glare to Improve Night Vision
DriveSTEEL™ reduce glare significantly and has less reflection compared to regular anti-reflection lens, hence vision is sharper and clearer.
Blue Light Protection
It blocks harmful blue light that emitted from LED car lights and digital devices.
Complete with ILT’s Signature STEEL® Coating
Hight performance easy clean coating with include anti-reflection, scratch & smudge resistant, repels dust & water, and providing optimal UV protection.
DRIVING AT NIGHT
Nowadays, High-Intensity Discharge (HID) headlights of vehicles and Light-Emitting Diode (LED) streetlights are often brighter and emit more short visible wavelengths (i.e. blue light) than the old, incandescent or sodium light sources. Short wavelengths can scatter more easily in an optical medium that may not be perfectly clear, such as night time, overcast weather and raining conditions. As such, light sources (i.e. car headlights, streetlights) can appear to have halos, be blurry, and cause glare. In addition, it could appear worse if the driver has dry eye, any cataracts or other eye conditions that reduce night vision, such as age-related macular degeneration or diabetic retinopathy.
While regular lens only work efficiently in the daytime, DriveSTEEL™ lens is optimized for both in day and night time that helps to minimize the reflection of light in low light conditions.
