WHAT IS YELLOW LIGHT?
- Yellow light around UV 585nm where red and green photoreceptors overlaps can be perceived as glare.
- Lens in the human eye becomes yellow in elderly and common eye diseases like cataracts and glaucoma can reduce the amount of light that the eye needs, resulting more sensitive to glare. In addition, intense yellow light especially in low light conditions can make night driving difficult, as the headlights of oncoming cars can prove blinding to older drivers. Driving in bright sunlight may also be difficult.
